Iowa Corn Growers Association (Carroll County): (2) $300 scholarships will be awarded to students going into an agriculture-related field. The application can be found in the Google drive folder. The deadline has been extended to April 30.
Iowa PGA Foundation, Charlie Burkart Scholarship: At least one high school graduate will be the recipient of $1500 per year for four years at the college or university of his or her choice. Applicants will be chosen based on their level of interest and involvement in golf, potential for future contributions to the game, leadership skills/ community involvement and also on academic professional ability and need. The application can be found in the Google drive folder. The deadline is June 19, 2020.
Future Ready Iowa Last-Dollar Scholarship: This scholarship is available to students attending an Iowa community college or accredited private college in Iowa that offers eligible programs of study in high demand job fields (that information can be found here: https://www.futurereadyiowa.gov/college-list). Information about the scholarship can be found here: www.iowacollegeaid.gov/lastdollar All you have to do is file your FAFSA and you will be notified in your award letter if you qualify!

New: Coca Cola Scholars Foundation Scholarships: The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. The Foundation has provided over 6,150 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $69 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship. American Legion Auxiliary Eight District Merit Award: Applicants must be a direct descendant of a veteran. Applications can be found in the Google drive folder and must be postmarked by April 1, 2020.
NEW: Carroll Area I-Club Scholarship: (2)$650 scholarships will be awarded to students in the Denison/Carroll area who plan to attend the University of Iowa. The information can be found in the Google drive folder. The deadline is April 27.
Heather Kusel Memorial Scholarship: A $500 scholarship will be awarded to an IKM-Manning student who plans to attend a 2 year/technical school. The application can be found in the Google drive folder or outside of the guidance office. The deadline is March 27.
Exodus Chapter No. 313, Order of the Eastern Star: A $300 scholarship will be awarded to an IKM-Manning student. The scholarship will be awarded based on need (50%), grades (35%) and community activities (15%) Applications can be found in the Google drive folder The deadline is April 1.
Marian Vaatveit P.E.O. Chapter NS Scholarship: This $500 scholarship is awarded to a female resident of Carroll County. The recipient is chosen based on Character, Scholarship, Leadership, and Desire. See the Google drive scholarship folder for more details and to see the application. The deadline is April 1.
The Lyle (Jr.) Schrum and Eleanor Sutherland Scholarship: (2) $2500 scholarships will be awarded to IKM-Manning students who have participated in athletics throughout high school. There will be 2 recipients (typically one male and one female). The application can be found in the Google drive folder or outside of the guidance office. The deadline is March 27.
St. Anthony Regional Hospital Scholarships: St. Anthony has several scholarships that are awarded to students in the area that are going into a healthcare-related field. There is only one application that needs to be filled out to be eligible for all scholarships. MCEC Technical Scholarship Grand Lodge of Iowa (Mark Earl and Esther Ruth Spencer Technical Scholarship): Students who are planning to enroll in a mechanical or trade course of study at a community college in Iowa may apply for this scholarship. Applications can be found in the Google drive folder or at https://grandlodgeofiowa.org/docs/scholarship/MCECScholarshipApplication2020.pdf. The deadline is March 1.
Carroll County Iowa Corn Growers Association: (2)$300 scholarships will be awarded to students who plan to pursue a degree in agriculture at a college or university in the state of Iowa.The application can be found in the Google drive folder or outside of the guidance office. The deadline is March 1.
Southwest Iowa Educational Foundation (SWIEF) scholarship application goes live online on February 1, 2020.
Deadline to apply: March 15, 2020. ***Note that this is NOT just for those going into education!

Need based and merit based scholarships available so students from all income levels should apply.
After student applies, an email will be sent to them containing specific scholarships for which they match the criteria. Any additional information associated with the scholarship should then be completed and submitted by March 23, 2020.
Bank Iowa Spirit of Chandy Scholarship: (17) $500 scholarships will be awarded to applicants based on academics, character, leadership, honors/awards received and participation in school and community activities, namely those that Chandy was passionate about (swimming, biking, running, and flying). More information can be found in the Google drive folder or outside of the guidance office. The deadline is March 9.
NEW: Carroll County Agricultural Scholarship: Scholarships of approximately $250 will be awarded to Carroll County residents who plan to continue their education in an ag-related field. The application can be found in the Google drive folder or outside of the guidance office. The deadline is March 11.
Shelby County Farmers Mutual Insurance Assocation: (2) $500 scholarships will be awarded to students whose family are members of the Shelby County Farmers Mutual Insurance Association. Town families who have an IMT Homeowners insurance policy purchased through SCMFIA are also eligible. Applicants must have at least a 2.5 GPA. The application can be found in the Google drive folder or outside of the guidance office. The deadline is March 1.
Iowa Farm Bureau Federation Scholarship: (54) $1000 scholarships will be awarded in the state of Iowa. Applicants must be the son or daughter of an Iowa Farm Bureau member and must be a member in good standing. Applicants must be majoring in agriculture, agriculture education, or nursing (the full list is available with the application, which is found at https://www.iowafarmbureau.com/Article/File/get?path=Files%2Farticle-167077%2F2020app.pdf). Shelby County Farm Bureau Scholarship Program: (3)$1000 scholarships will be awarded to students whose parents are members of the Shelby County Farm Bureau. 2 of those will go to students working toward a degree in agriculture or agribusiness and the other will go to a student in any field of study. Winners will be chosen from the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation Scholarship applications (you do ONE application for Shelby County and Iowa!) Acacia Leadership Scholarship: This scholarship, with a maximum value of $1000 is open to males attending Iowa State who have demonstrated their ability to excel in academics, extra-curricular school activities and community involvement. Preference is given to members of the Acacia Fraternity. The application can be found in the Google drive folder or outside of the guidance office. The deadline is March 1.
Basin Electric Power Cooperative Scholarships: A $1000 scholarship will be awarded by Basic Electric to a student whose parents are members of Nishnabotna Valley REC.
New: Horatio Alger Association Scholarship: Offers scholarships to students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their young lives and have demonstrated financial need. More information can be found here: https://scholars.horatioalger.org/about-our-scholarship-programs/ The deadline is Oct. 25.
Grow Ag Leaders Scholarship: A $1500 scholarship will represent to students pursuing ag-related fields of study. The Scholarship is sponsored by Bayer Fund. More information can be found at https://www.americasfarmers.com/grow-ag-leaders/ or in the Google drive folder. The deadline is January 15.
Hagan Scholarship Foundation: Last year 410 scholarships were awarded to students in the U.S. The Purpose of the Hagan Scholarship is to provide each recipient with the opportunity to obtain a four-year college education and graduate debt free. The Free Workshops, Schwab Accounts, and Study Abroad provide recipients with a practical understanding of important life skills not typically taught as a part of the school curriculum. Iowa State Hixson Opportunity Award: This is a half-tuition scholarship, estimated at more than $18,000 over the course of eight semesters. The scholarship is for those that have ability and determination, but modest circumstances and means to afford college as evidenced by the FAFSA. The deadline is December 15.
Iowa State Rifle and Pistol Association: (2) $1000 scholarships are available (based on merit to students who are currently enrolled in a team or club that is participating in Rifle-Pistol-Air Rifle, or Shotgun competitions. Applicants must plan to continue participating in events and must have a 3.0 GPA or higher. Applications can be found in the Google drive folder. The deadline is March 1.
Crawford County Farm Bureau: The Crawford County Farm Bureau awards scholarships to students whose parents are members in good standing, and who are also planning to major in agriculture, nursing, or education. The application can be found at https://www.iowafarmbureau.com/page/file?path=Files%2Fpage-874%2F2020Application.pdf One application can be done for the Crawford County Farm Bureau and the Iowa Farm Bureau scholarships. The deadline is Feb. 28.
**WIMECA and Basin Electric Power Cooperative scholarship packets were mailed out to eligible students. There are additional copies in the scholarship folder if you need them. The deadline for both applications is Feb. 21.
2020 Future of Iowa Agriculture Scholarship Program: (16)$1000 scholarships will be awarded to students who are agriculture programs of study in 2 or 4 year schools in Iowa. Applicants must be members of the Iowa Corn Growers Association or the son or daughter of a member. Acacia Leadership Scholarship: This scholarship, with a maximum value of $1000 is open to males attending Iowa State who have demonstrated their ability to excel in academics, extra-curricular school activities and community involvement. Crawford County Cattlemen's Association Scholarship: $500-$1000 scholarships are awarded to students who are either themselves members of the Crawford County Cattlemen's Association or whose parents are members. The application can be found outside of the guidance office or in the Google drive folder. The deadline is Feb. 4.
Western Iowa Power Cooperative: WIPCO, in conjunction with Basin Electric Power Cooperative, will be awarding $4000 scholarships to students who are dependent children of a member of WIPCO and receive electrical service from the cooperative. Basin will award (1) $1000 scholarship and WIPCO will award (1) $1000 and (4) $500 scholarships. 2 of the $500 scholarships will go to students enrolling in a vocational/technical school. Nishnabotna Valley REC Scholarships: (8)$500 scholarships are available to students living in a county that is served by Nishnabotna Valley REC. Up to 4 of those will go to students attending 2-year or trade schools. The application can be found in the Google drive folder or outside of the guidance office. The deadline is Feb. 14.
Grand Lodge of Iowa Masonic Scholarships: Last year (60) $2000 and (10)$1000 scholarships were awarded to students in Iowa. The scholarships are designed to assist graduating seniors in pursuing a post-secondary education in any state at an accredited institution which provides a two or four year college program. The principal criterion is service to school and community with special emphasis upon leadership roles in these areas.The application can be found in the Google drive folder or at https://grandlodgeofiowa.org/docs/scholarship/MCECScholarshipApplication2020.pdf. The deadline is Feb. 1
Iowa Newspaper Foundation Scholarships: This is open to students who plan to pursue a career in media. The scholarships range from $500-$1000. The application can be found at https://inanews.com/foundation/scholarships/. See the Google drive scholarship folder for more details. The deadline is Feb. 14, 2020
Carroll Soil and Water District Scholarship. (2) $500 scholarships are awarded to students who live in Carroll County. The submission of this application enters the student in both the Carroll Soil and Water Conservation District and the Conservation Districts of Iowa scholarship competitions. Applicants must be going into any field in agriculture or natural resources.Information and applications can be found here http://cdiowa.org/get-involved/scholarships/ and in the Google drive folder. The deadline is Feb. 14.
Seaboard Foods Scholarships: Seaboard Foods will award scholarships to students who are graduating from communities where Seaboard Foods has business operations (this includes Carroll County). (40) $1000 scholarships will be given to those who attend 2-year, 4-year, and technical schools. There are also scholarships given to children of Seaboard Foods, Seaboard Transport, and Seaboard Energy employees. Iowa Financial Know-How Challenge: (30)$2000 scholarships are awarded to Iowa students each year through this program. Anyone can apply. More info can be found at https://www.iowastudentloan.org/scholarships/high-school-senior-scholarship.aspxThe deadline is Feb. 21
Iowa Automobile Dealers Foundation for Education Scholarship: Scholarships in the amount of $2500 will be awarded to students who are studying in an automotive-related field such as technician training, body shop/collision repair, diesel, new vehicle sales, parts sales, accounting, or business administration. The application and guidelines can be found in the Google drive folder. The deadline is March 2.
NEW: Crawford County Pheasants Forever Scholarship: A $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a resident of Crawford County, who has an interest in wildlife conservation, hunting, fishing, trapping, shooting sports or other. The application can be found in the Google drive folder or outside of the guidance office. The deadline is April 15.
NEW: Nishnabotna Conservation Foundation Scholarship: A $500 scholarship will be awarded to a Shelby County resident who plans to further his/her education in a degree related to natural resources. More information, along with the application, can be found in the Google drive folder. The deadline is April 1.
NEW: James Justice Memorial Scholarship: (2)$500 scholarships will be awarded to IKM-Manning students who plan to pursue a degree after high school. The application can be found in the Google drive folder or outside of the guidance office. The deadline is April 3.
NEW: Audubon County Saddleclub Scholarship: (3) $200 scholarships will be given to high school seniors who have a 3.0 GPA or higher, who have also been members of 4-H, FFA, or Saddle Club. The application can be found in the Google drive folder or outside of the guidance office. The deadline is April 1.
NEW: Paragon IT Professionals Scholarship: A $1000 scholarship is going to be awarded to a student in Iowa who has at least a 3.0 GPA who plans to pursue a technology-related degree at a school in the state of Iowa. NEW: Manilla Masonic Lodge Grant: Applicants must be IKM-Manning students, and have held a job or worked in the family business during high school. The application can be found in the Google drive folder or outside of the guidance office. The deadline is April 1.
NEW:Northwest Iowa League of Cities: up to (4)$1000 scholarships will be given to students who reside in a community that is a member of the Northwest Iowa League of Cities (Manning is part of this). Applicants must intend to enroll in a post-secondary program that may result in employment by city government (public administration, law enforcement, public engineer, city attorney, etc.) The application can be found in the Google drive folder or outside of the guidance office. The deadline is April 1.
Carroll County Cattlemen's Youth Leadership Scholarship: A $1000 scholarship is available to a graduating seniors whose parents are members of the Iowa Cattlemen's Association with a 3 year paid membership for Carroll County by the time applications are due. .The application can be found in the Google drive folder or outside of the guidance office. The deadline is April 17.
FAC Cooperative Scholarship: A $500 scholarship will be awarded to a 2020 graduate who is seeking an undergraduate degree in agriculture. The application can be found in the Google drive folder or outside of the guidance office. The deadline is April 15.
Carroll County Farm Bureau: This scholarship is open to student whose parents are Carroll County Farm Bureau members. The application can be found in the Google drive folder. The deadline is April 3.
Myrtue Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarships: (5)$800 scholarships will be given to students planning to pursue a healthcare career who live in the area served by Myrtue Medical Center who have at least a C average. Applications can be found in the Google drive folder. The deadline is April 1
Myrtue Medical Center Donate Hibray Scholarship: This $800 scholarship will be given to a student going into any healthcare-related field who lives in the area served by Myrtue Medical Center.
